The Deconstruction of an Idiosyncratic Fashionista Wanna-Be

Today was my debut as an Idiosyncratic Fashionista Wanna-Be. I have been eagerly awaiting my opportunity to wear The Boot and I decided that this was

the day. I was going to a meeting and lunch with a group of women who have been meeting for 25+ years. I knew they would not only accept my outfit, but I would disappoint them if I didn't wear something "over-the-top".
I have on a RTW striped tee, a pair of Spirithouse pants, a CLD Anything But Ordinary jacket, striped socks, and The Boot.
I don't quite have the "je n'ai sais quoi" yet, but I'm working on it!

  1. May I respectfully beg to differ on the 'je ne sais quoi' comment? As far as I'm concerned, you have it big time, and you're rocking your look! Hope you have a fantastic time :)

And you are totally inspiring me to work towards my own version of being an idiosyncratic fashionista....or at least a wannabe! ;D

  2. Ditto what Jilly said. A very avant garde, way cool outfit. Even though we haven't met, I sense you have the personality to carry this off. And a sense of humor. Bravo!

  3. OMIGOSH, you are killing me with wonderousness. And fabulosity.

OMG. I must never ever step outside of the house again.

  4. Really, from the little I've read and seen here and on SG, I think you have all the "je ne sais quoi" you need.

  5. Hi Margy,
Recently I was awarded a Versatile Blogger Award. As part of it I need to select a few fellow bloggers to pass the award onto.
Would you mind if I select you and your great site to share future with the sewing blogging community???
    Thanks
    Judith

  6. Not at all, Doobee64. Is there something I need to do with it?

  8. There is always something to do, is there not??? But at least with this it is pretty easy and mindless. Just pop over to my site to see 'the rules' ... basically Thank, Share and Pass. Pretty Grievances passed it onto me, and I am sure you will enjoy her site. Intriguing is it not??? But if it motivates us bloggers then it is for a good cause. Thanks for accepting ... Judith

  9. Love your stack of bracelets! Personally, I will pass of the fabulous looking shoes because I would be afraid I might fall off.
