I did make myself a pair of pajama pants... B5572. I love the Asian Wrap pajamas at Garnet Hill, but the ones I've had for years and years are wearing out, so I went looking for some high quality cotton/lycra knit. I found this
Valerie Wells Karavan knit here and made a pair of pj bottoms. DH thinks it's funny, as he is a Republican and I am NOT...but who wants to wear a donkey to sleep in? The pants matched a tie-dyed cotton tee I made several weeks ago...
I like these so much, I have ordered more knit fabrics...in black and white, of course!
Today I hosted a meeting and picnic lunch with a friend of mine...it's a beautiful day here and my roses (and everyone else's) are glorious...
I was trying to look a little French, n'est ce pas?
More roses (and me!)
Wednesday we're off for a week to visit children and grandchildren in Salt Lake City, Utah, and Des Moines and Pella in Iowa. Maybe I'll find a few blog posts along the way...
I LOVE those PJs!!! Too cute.
ReplyDeleteBefore I saw your comment, I thought, she looks French! You succeeded brilliantly. You look gorgeous and sophisticated!
Love the nellies and the roses :o)
ReplyDeleteGorgeous roses, and I really love your pj pants.
ReplyDeleteYour roses are absolutely beautiful. We are well into autumn here in Australia and my roses are struggling valiantly to keep up a show since we have finally had some sun after rain for most of summer. I do love your elephants. They immediately want me to own some of my own. Thank your so much for the inspiration. Maree
ReplyDeleteYour jammies are sweet and you do look French. I should know because I am French and it takes one to know one!Lol.
ReplyDeleteOh my! I just looked back on your blog and saw your version Of my top and I absolutely love it. It looks so striking with the red zipper!
ReplyDeleteSuch great PJ bottoms and the top is just right too. I think I may have to buy some of this fabric. Did you say it is a knit?

ReplyDeleteGreat looking PJs! Your roses are spectacular.
ReplyDeleteI'm a big pj girl myself. Love yours. Your garden is beautiful and I love how "French" you look in your black and white striped top. Looks like you had a lovely day.
ReplyDeleteSo French! I love your wardrobe...every piece.
ReplyDeleteLove your PJ's - and your new avatar on SG - The roses are beautiful.

Ooo la la - love your French look, right down to the shoes and bag. I'm trying to find the perfect summer tote, with little success. Yours looks tres chic.
ReplyDeleteLove those jammie bottoms. I agree with not wearing donkeys to bed. My a$$ is big enough, without being covered by an entire herd. Have a great trip!
